And once both are maxed the rate at which a lower lvl player levels up is just higher since the cost to level up at higher lvls is just higher. Of course it's not possible to catch up all the way, but the gap between the sync lvl of day 1 players and newer players simply shrinks over time until we all reach the level cap and then everybody is truly caught up, which could actually already happen in like 2-3 years since the pace at which players level up is faster than the pace at which the level cap increases based on newly released NikkesEven if we don't look at sync lvl but other stuff like character skills and OL gear newer players aren't even as behind as they might think because older players had to spend way longer farming just SI since we had no AI so the rock and T9M gear income has simply increased now compared to the early days. Same goes for skill mats which have been increased both just generally the daily income is way higher now, but also through OC and more frequent Full Burst weekends. A lot of resources older players had also simply went into characters that are now obsolete and they'll never get that investment back while newer players can just ignore investing altogether. There's no benefit that I have an OLed Privaty or Harran right now for example.

Definitely missing a bunch.Rapi's alright, though the "no-nonsense Joe Friday with a subtle emotional side" shtick is hard to pull in an audio drama. Same deal with Anderson (He's definitely better as the more emotive Legendary Commander.)A lot of the characters have the problem where they have some great deliveries for in-game barks, but the story segments just have them dole out line after line of exposition, so the actor's got little to work with (e.g. Novel). A lot of the more lackluster performances seem to stem from poor direction rather than talent (Ingrid's appearances in earlier chapters sound like the director told her "Just keep speaking like a drill sergeant!" Her later performances are much better.) And some have vocal ticks that Meryl Streep couldn't salvage (Guilty, Clay). While there are a few genuinely...lacking voices (you know who they are), I think the majority of the cast does a good job. The real culprit for the awkwardness is that it's a risque & exposition-heavy anime audio drama originally written in another language from a culture with drastically different tastes in melodrama. That's like five layers of cringe an actor has to navigate around, cut 'em some slack.
