It unintentionally also helps newer tanks learn how far they are supposed to pull. In WoW, there are no in game helps to show you how far you are supposed to pull, so you are kinda forced to watch other people play through the dungeon first. XIV does a lot of things to help tanks and it makes the role a lot more popular in XIV than it is in WoW.
