Making a request here, if RTA goes through with all the picks and bans shit please please give us more free gear preset slots. I don’t think anyone among the devs understands just how much of a chore and how boring it is having to sift through shit all the time just to prepare a proper team ina game like this where gear stats can snatch victory from the jaws of defeat simply from having 1 more or less speed on one piece of gear. I can acknowledge the depth of the game mechanics but I cannot condone how clunky the current process is, and this even extends to pve. Like what is the most boring and ugly chore for newer or poor players? It’s setting up gear for world boss or guild boss and such. And from a PvP perspective, ain’t nobody wanna be the one doing these gear swap chores nor does any spectator wanna be watching the participants customize their gear for 15 min every time just for maximum efficiency. I admit I don’t have a vision for a solution, but the problem is something I believe is almost universal. While it might be ‘fun’ to treat gear changing as strategizing and such, and to a degree it absolutely is, the point is it’s not fun to look at regardless of if you are the player doing it or the spectator watching it. Any attempts at a PvP ‘scene’ is straight neutered until you can get around that/Like for starters, if players can complicate shit on the gear inventory screen longer than it takes 4chan cup hosts to set up PES formations each round? That’s a failure. I want to watch anime waifus beating each other up not get ptsd of Diablo 2 inventory management.

Stuff like environmental artist or artists who do big spreads for story events and such probably belong to others or whatever, but having a consistent artist for your profile pictures or whatever it’s called is not a loss at all. Hell, I’d say the issue is ever since the last 3d model guy left, both Ame and Iota seem a bit lacking compared to the 2D art but I’ll give a pass on Ame because her 2D is ridiculously lewd if taken all the way instead of being an optical illusion, but for Iota I think everyone can judge the 3d isn’t as hot as the 2d. Keep in mind, this is the same gacha where the 3d base Iota is hotter than the 2d Iota with more generous curves, and it’s not just Iota but applies to G Dahlia, Nella, Hilde, etc as well. I dunno what happened, all I know is right now 2D artist is leading the charge to culture while beforehand it was the other way around. Might just be the 2d artist leveling up and the 3d artist not keeping up after being overtaken.
