So even if she is acting sus you get distracted and easily slips from the mind. A lot of other clues, like bdsm gear in her mansion, locked basement, backstory, talisman can be attributed to other things and characters. The player has all these other way more vocal weirdos around too, rpg mechanics, loot, story etc to be distracted by. People like Daeran with his own sus backstory and heads, Woljif shadow, Wendu if you get her. And yeah, she is useful in party, is she not.It's also a great play with a trope of killers hiding in plain sight, majority of people ignoring or missing obvious signs.

Just finished Dead State. Honestly not really worth playing nowadays. It's way too combat oriented and full of filler instead of featuring meaningful role playing during the zombie apocalypse. Survivors you recruit for the vast majority are only useful as work horses and have no interesting story bits associated. Combat isn't really fun, whether against humans or zombies, but I can see how the game could've found its audience in the early 2010s since the cRPG landscape was very different.Gonna take a little break and move on to D:OS 2 or Divinity 2 Ego Draconis, depending on my mood. Maybe some good cRPGs will release this year too (dolly smooching optional).

The games are usually isometric, but I personally don't consider this a requirement. Kotor is a CRPG in my mind for example. Similarly DAO is a CRPG, DA2 sorta is, and DAI has transitioned to an action game wearing a CRPG mask. ME never even pretended to be a CRPG.

I wanted to like this game but the pacing is off, you only really start feeling like a rogue trader by chapter 2 but even then there is so much fluff like being interrupted by random crew members yapping as you travel the expanse, ship combat which sucks balls and the colony events where you are forced to travel there. I also dislike how you can't just immediately warp to where you want even if you have already charted the point and made it safe for you to reach it. Also the DLC companions have too much content, there were many times I thought I finished their plotlines just so that there is actually another twist and a more secret mastermind, especially with DLC 1With that said, I liked the portrait and I enjoyed killing Ildira and the two aelderi companions since I am dogmatic. The portraits are also cool as shit, as well as the soundtrack.I'd give this game a 7.5/10, the good parts are great but there's also a lot of flaws.
