I think 1100's ish range is where you fall if you're a true first-time Master, so technically better than a true first-time Diamond 5, but not really much.

When I first got to Master at like 60 hours of playtime I fell to that range after a couple of days, and that was a character I had to really grind through D5 to get to Master, with a 50% winrate so in practicality, I was about as average of a Diamond as you get.

If anything BnB in this game are easy to learn because optimal combos are always easy and well defined.
Stuff will branch off of your optimals for different purposes, but typically the route is roughly the same for combos in this game, so everyone is more or less doing the same combos from the jump with every character barring a few.

In contrast I tried to pick up MotW last year and that shit is not simple, nor are the optimals well defined.
You can have two players of the same skill level who have very different combos.

The point was a criticism of how a lot of bnb videos don't do bnb, they show you pretty much everything a character can possibly do and call that "bread and butter".

Having an EX DP that hits neutral jump shimmies is a privilege that's not talked about enough in this game.
It's way harder to mix Ryu and Akuma after an anti air DP or any type of drive rush oki, it's often better to try delayed meaties to catch the delay tech, but these carried apes are often shaky in their timing so you also risk getting thrown alot.
