Stitcher is good but I got a bobcat bp and ran it for the first time and deleted 4 people no issue. And this was a firefight 2 rats downed my buddy and I killed them, then 2 more rats showed up and I slaughtered them too easy. And this was a bobcat 1, I feel like stitcher is only equal at max with full attachments.

I don’t know much about game design, but I’m sure it takes a while to find and fix problems within coding. So I think people should be happy that they’ve fixed the exploits that have been such a source of complaints for so long.

I have a feeling most of these people have no idea what it takes to program or even create anything at this scale, the time required to do so, or the small size of Embark's team. Is Embark suffering from success here? I think so, yeah. I doubt they could have imagined moving 12 million units in three months. But like, the game will be here, and there's a ton of other great games you can play if this one is wearing you down. Can always come back when something significant launches.

Software dev here. Sometimes trivial looking bugs can have very complex reasons that need time to fix without breaking something else.Glitching out of the map could be solved by simply fixing a hole/gap in the map editor. Or it could be caused by the interaction of different systems like out of bounds calculation, physics, and netcode (sync between client and server resulting in unintended player states).And even simple fixes need to be tested thoroughly. Don't want three new glitches for every glitch fixed.imho Embark is rather fast within a reasonable timeframe. The quality of what they do is great.

As a game dev, this is the type of update I absolutely hate. It is a game critical update to release, an update which has taken time to investigate, develop fixes for and test thoroughly, but you only see 4 lines on the front-facing public patch notes. In the eyes of the majority of players, it's an update which has taken weeks for "4 simple fixes".
