I have information on an upcoming Sonic game to be released on April first. It will be a 2D Sonic game classic styled though it will be short and have wonky animation. It is advertised as a Sonic CD sequel called Sonic CD Eye.It will not have the normal voice cast but instead be voiced by members of the social media teamm.

Unless you think SA2 and every other game produced by him is OOC you can't really claim Naka is wrong. Oshima never even got to work on the narrative of the modern games. He oversaw the CGI cutscenes for SA1 and that was the end of his career on the modern Sonic narrative. The only way you could save Sonamy is by saying the Adventure, Dark, and meta eras are all OOC and the classic era is IC. Especially since Iizuka sticks to Naka's word.

my only take here is if you go by the games, not creator statements, spinoff cartoons, or comics, Sonic isn't interested in any form of physical intimacy whatsoever and consistently avoids even the smallest bits across all the games. He won't even let Tails hug him for more than a few seconds. The first time elise tried to hug him, he pushed her back off of him. JP Sonic shuts down every attempt Rouge makes to flirt with him. Amy can only keep him still when he's exhausted. Son-Anything is not debatable because there's just no empirical evidence here. Why fight over something that is completely inert?
