Well Valencina's disposal skill gets all of its base power off of stacks of her eye of precognition, so no, it's actually very useful for securing the kill too, just takes some getting used to to use.In fact from a purely statistical standpoint, it's Matthias' sword that we don't really know what it does. We assume it overcharges his tattoos to make him nearly unkillable but in practice all it does is give him a burn count + potency aura and inflict huge burn and bonus damage on hit. Nothing close to Valencina's do 30000+ damage button.
