Map-wide PVP and gutting legendaries stops anyone from actually utilizing high risk worlds.It should've just been burning springs, all the motifs are around the area being an inhospitable mad max shithole relative to WV. Disable the PVP for head hunts only and give a couple of minutes of grace so people can quickly loot and TP out or otherwise bumble around afterwards and fight. Dying gives partial reward so you don't unga grug rush in.

Here's something I'm sure has been discussed here ad-nauseum.What are the best methods for rewarding/incentivizing skill checks?I've noticed a weird trend in these games where if you pass a check (usually a speech check) then you get to skip content. Fallout 3 is especially guilty of this with skipping the interaction with Silver, skipping the quest for Three Dog, skipping the rescue mission for Little Lamplight.Even throughout the rest of the series, often times it'll just be "have the skill, or get into combat" which doesn't really sound right either if I'm being honest. On top of the fact that the rewards for having the skill check are usually better than straight up combat, it's also a lot harder to do fights than to just have the correct skill and select the option from a menu.It just sort of feels weird to me to treat the actual gameplay as a sort of punishment. Maybe instead of that, they could set the "fall-back" option to money. You need a piece of machinery fixed up, so you can either: pay the mechanic 500 caps, convince him to do it for free/cheap, fix it yourself, fight a bunch of enemies to steal their machine instead, or sneak past them to steal it.I don't know, obviously this won't work in every example, but money is the one thing every player would rather not give up if they can help it, so making it the one you pick when you have no other options just sounds right to me.

During the episode a thug spends time in a purgetory of sorts to learn a lesson he couldn't learn in life. Due to other players 76 is more like life than a purgetory constructed to teach people a lesson. If you want to better understand the spirit of Fallout I'd say avoid 76. If you want to have fun playing a game though I'd say play it. It adds fun mechanics to the game.

Is it true that you can't kill certain characters in 4? I need characters of certain races to be uhhhh, purgeable. Also is the flamer still a thing? Burning things alive is one of my preferred ways of dealing with 'them'.
