It essentially forces you into using a student whose sole role is just use EX that provides no advantage to the fight or die, we have a few bosses where positioning actually engages with the boss mechanics so it just feels forced in to me here, like you don't even need to aim it and you don't really need to time it either, it's like there's a huge red button with a timer you die if you don't press it every so often. It's also a shame how the cold mechanic doesn't engage with the generator at all.
