from what i understand mcoms argument is just that brining back quickplay 1:1 is more effort for no reason than improving casual to actually solve the problems that brining back quickplay would solve.like technically if valve wanted they could do it but seriously there's nothing "FUNDAMENTALLY BROKEN" about casual that can't be added. (45 min timers, no round limit team scramble) even something like adhoc connections with QP's original UI can be added with a little bit more work. All that is to say is that you're better off just doing that than straight up backporting how the matchmaking systems works to an 8 year old system that wasn't built for current day systems or even made to be updated. because THAT's the real issues. QP will need to be ported to modern day Valve server's systems where as casual needs fixes that can be done infinitely easier than what Zesty and his retard friends are proposing. Has anyone else been seeing the same players more often?As of recent (past week or so) I've started to recognize more players than I normally do. Usually it takes forever to see somebody again, usually recognized only by a weapon name or profile picture to clue me in. But I've started to see players within a day or two, and have been put into the same server I was in a few games prior. I'm not complaining either, it's nice to recognize people, I always hate when a rivalry gets going only for them to leave never to be seen again. A sidenote, I even ran into the person who sold me my ball kicking boots months ago. Did the server fixes do something?
