I've done research but I can't make up my mind on what disc set to farm.Is Chaotic Metal + Nicole still worth using? It's supposed to be the best set for ZY since Nicole synergizes well with her and she builds up anomaly but at the same time, I've also seen people agree that anomaly buildup nerfs have made this possibly less viable. It takes 6 levels to max an agent's buff, and you get enough daily performance for 1 level every week. 52 weeks in a year means you can max out 8 across the course of an entire year, and there's already 6 available with 2 confirmed in 2.6 and at least 3 more confirmed to be getting them in the future. It's unsustainable without extra daily performances elsewhere if they continue buffing characters.And finally, fucking dennies bro. Leveling disks, leveling agents, leveling engines, leveling skills. All that shit costs dennies and it never stops being useful and the rate is actually decent considering how many merits you get.

I genuinely think that 3.0 is ZZZ's last chance to redeem itself, after the Idols they can no longer rely on Waterkuma designs to carry them, and their new character designer is dogshit and is probably Ai generating characters (see Lucia and Yidhari). The story has become so bad it's not even funny, it's just bad, it's boring, overwrought, and terribly presented (we're all sick of the visual novel format of 3 niggas in a row just staring forward and yapping). It's abandoned the original grounded urbankino setting it sold itself as and turned into chinese fantasyslop. The endgame has been destroyed by HP inflation so fewer and fewer players can actually clear it anymore. Unless 3.0 is a complete and utter groundbreaking fundamental change to the game on just about every concievable level, than I don't see much hope for it. People are already moving on to other games like WuWa and now Arknights Endfield. We're consistently getting mogged in not just the gameplay, but the story, worldbuilding and especially the story presentation department by WuWa (even more so lately, 3.0's story and worldbuilding are incredibly well done, with direct inspiration from Hebrew and Norse mythology intelligently weaved into WuWa's world). To say nothing of the richness of the Arknights universe. Meanwhile ZZZ still has done virtually zero worldbuilding since it released 1.5 years ago.Who will be left playing ZZZ if 3.0 isn't the salvation the game needs? Just gooners here to collect the newest ai-generated waifu to goon to, and whales who swipe the latest meta unit to clear the same repetitive arenaslop endgame.
