The issue with chapter 6 had nothing to do with Darcia dying, but everything to do with Nyx and Firenze. The focus at the end with them talking about how important they are to each other and the whole ed felt kind of blase. And the fact Firenze telling Darcia she had never been loved was out of nowhere. Firenze honestly was the worst part.
