As the game progressed, removing depending on BRD for MP also vanished and this made it so WHM could go ham on dps for dps uptime and even optimize heals more often not just conserve MP but for also push dps, so the job basically went from "no mp, time to not play the game" to "dps/heal optimization"The SB issue on aggro didn't change tank gameplay a whole lot since tanks were full on DPS mode back then, the main difference is that now other players don't have to play worse because the tanks refuse to touch a button of their aggro combo.One of the jobs that used to pull the most aggro (WHM) still has to press their "aggro dump" button (lucid) on cooldown for mp management so nothing really changed other than not having to worry about eating tankbusters just because there isn't a NIN in the party.Finally, Phys ranged don't have to worry about getting a bad parse just because they don't have a DRG in their party.Most of these changes basically freed the jobs with the kneecaps broken to play the game normally without having to look at their party list and see that they're lacking the job that pretty much lets them play the game properly.
