Matthias; disgraced Great Brother of The Middle and unchosen wielder of Laevateinn. What a monster. Just look at the power this fellow is packing.The thing with Matt is that he basically has four nigh identical kits. Each is just a changed up version of the last with upgraded moves, some base power variations, and Punting which gets partially rolled into Stomping rebranded once Laevateinn's fully unsheathed. Lots of his moves exchange the coin rolls you'd traditionally see for freakishly high base values. Spitball theory, but maybe that's a way of saying Matthias has brute strength but is lacking in technique. It's interesting to note that Laevateinn's skills start sapping Sanity once fully unsheathed on top of gaining Self-Burn from both coin numbers and Laevateinn's Turn Start effect. Maybe that's a consequence of not being chosen, or just Laevateinn being super hot. Not that it's really a detriment to this beast since he has plenty of SP recovering effects that offset it, and the Burn can only hinder so much on its own. Not to mention there's a point in the fight where Matthias just decides to stop taking damage because he wants to show those pansy ass Shin users how it's really done.I'm curious how they'll translate some of this into a kit. I personally think they should give Laevateinn an unsheathing process similar to Leisault's 'phase' changes. Leisault changes from Tigermark, Savage Tigermark, and Overheat states while also having the option to force the process to go faster at the cost of being weaker in the end. So have something similar with the Laevateinn, maybe each S3 used progresses Laevateinn's state and have some other condition like Envy Res or something which speeds up the process. Or PM could be super boring and make it like what Kiramael seems to be and just have Laevateinn be an on/off switch. Or a third thing.

My theory is that the entire Wing of T Corp is under some type of Time Track Tech, which is what allows them to siphon or spend time like currency in the first place. It also explains why there's a 'currency' exchange at the border, and would even explain how they drained the color from their world.

I think the middle fight would've gotten better reception if Matthias actually managed to heavily injure Vespa with the Kira splitting attack. Then the sinners will use their cutscene ego together to keep Matthias in place for Crimson Point and heavily injured Vespa delivered the final blow before succumbing.
