Since Endfield slander is in vogue at the moment, why was it made? Obviously it would be dumb to just rely on Arknights for money and it’s a popular IP so more games in its universe was inevitable but Endfield is just unnecessary in its current form. It spoils the ending of Arknights while it’s still ongoing and pretty much tells us we didn’t cure Oripathy, relies on fanservice by porting old characters instead of having confidence in its new ones and the story thus far doesn’t feel like a story that needed to be told. Endfield feels like it was created to ride to Genshin wave but came out like five years too late.

Tried your game for 3 days after all this Endfield hype. Got to end of 2nd stage when you get to Lungmen. Characters are great, chibis are cute, gameplay is probably my favorite out of all gachas ever. But the grind for mats is apparently insane. I got bored out of my mind just repeating the annihilation a bunch of times + levels that drop certain mats that you need to upgrade operator skills. And the story is your typical "lets makes this 10000 words for no reason when it can be done with 3000" to extend the "playtime". I checked the shithole hugbox that is arknights reddit, and as suspected, everyone defends this shit
Endfield will become better by Arknights 7th anniversary. Until then, I'll just continue molesting Haruka.
