The fact it took me about 4 hours of playing to get ONE 10-pull on the limited banner during fucking launch is fucking HORRENDOUS. Game feels pretty fun for now. Hopefully it will get better with time. Looking forward to seeing what directions they will take the game in. My only real gripe about combat so far is that it feels VERY straightforward. They should at the very least add Heavy/charged attacks besides the normal attack sequence. Anything even that simple would help spicing up the gameplay a bit

To sum the visuals up, it's the best and most high Budget looking gacha in a picture but pales in comparison to ZZZ and Hoyo money as soon as shit starts moving.VA work is solid, not award worthy but no complaints to be had.It's a bit early to judge the story, typical "chosen one / master of all" with amnesia but the execution is solid & the goal of establishing an industry on Talos is tangible, very light-hearted and can even be funny but I was hoping for something darker from AK.Exploration has been nice, walking around with a full team that can help you gather & mine in Dark Arisen style is peak, the few physics puzzles I've done to find chests were engaging enough for what is essentially a tutorial area.Performance I'm not sure about, certainly better than Wuwa & Zenless lagging on a tiny town but it felt misleading.During the rails-on tutorial I blasted max quality on my laptop and only thing that happened were high temps, smooth as butter, but as soon as the open world unlocked I started to notice a lower framerate especially when panning the camera, draw distance might be too high.Still, even when frames drop they do so smoothly so they're clearly doing something very right, no sharp spikes. >>> Combat yapping on next post ig
