She can't match their energy or enthusiasm and she doesn't try at all since Hinana is Hinana, but it's interesting that even among four characters who show an unexpected amount of maturity in their own units, Hinana is actually the one that grounds them. I'm surprised the commu doesn't actually end with the decision that Meguru may be center but Hinana is the actual leader with how they frame her as the one Meguru looks to for support.Meguru herself I think kind of gets done dirty. Kaho and Kogane admittedly play less of a role than the others but they still get a fair amount of lines and it's about what you expect within SfP's limitations. An anon mentioned the other day how Meguru's produce scenarios in enza are weak, but she has very strong pSRs/SSRs. It would've been good if they had leaned in on the side of her that needs to feed her insecurities, and how that would interact removed from the illumines and having to adjust to Kogane and Kaho who have strong personalities as leaders within their own units. Instead they lean in on the side of her that just wants everyone to be friends. They didn't miss the opportunities as much as IQ did, rather all the anticipated interactions DO happen, but they just don't give them as much friction as would be good.Despite being pretty nothing, I honestly consider the Soniha commu the best of the three we've gotten.

SC anime Slop2 Ep 2I'm genuinely curious why this wasn't made some kind of OVA that comes before S2 Ep 1, potentially packaged with a BD. At least part of the problem with this anime is that they have too many characters, who need to be in groups and interact in groups.
