I'm extremely curious as to how people get off super low res pixel characters. And eye is literally 4 entire pixels, how do you find any appeal? I feel like you either have to be extremely easy to please to the point where a stickfigure with 2 circles for boobs can get you off, or specifically have some low res fetish, especially because terraria characters aren't made with any direct sex appeal in mind. I can understand looking at the nurse or dryad and thinking "she's hot" in a way that you mean relative to everything else in the game and you'd like to see fanart of her, not in a "I can masturbate to her sprite" way. There's a reason why all the NSFW waifu texture packs make the sprites significantly more high-res.
I remember there was a Starbound sex mod, cause furries and all, I saw clips of it and it felt so unappealing and nonsexual that it disgusted me.

unless I'm mistaken Vampire Seed is not a seed, it is a very unique specific combo of seeds that triggers a bunch of unique effects. My theory is that it's taking the "start underground and the surface is dangerous" of Don't Dig Up and the "a certain light level hurts you and you need food to survive" of Don't Starve and mixing those into a Vampire Seed so that there's not a conflict between darkness hurting you while you're starting in a place that has mostly darkness. Probably boosted odds on some of the cool stuff like the bat transformation too, maybe some more tweaked mechanics like eating food replaced with a new option on NPCs to "feed".

idk where I even heard that explosive trap sentries were bad years ago, or that ballista & shock towers were the best - all of that info is false. explosives are the best because they can't miss, can hit multiple enemies, do a big chunk of dmg, glow so you can use them to light up offscreen caves, and you can stack them right next to each other unlike shock towers during the OoA event. meanwhile the ballista sentries often swap targets and miss, interrupt each other's iframes, and don't glow. the shock towers do pitiful dmg unless you're a pure summoner and whip stacking, and you can't put them next to each other during the even without exploits. flame towers are tied with shock for being the worst because their dmg is so shit, their DoT is chance-based afaik, and they literally cannot look straight up or down. their only saving grace is that they have long range.

I did pick up a golden crate between sky crates 1 and 2 and swapped to master bait, so that might've added another 1 or 2 crates. I don't remember the weather or moon phase. But outside of that there was no accessories, no armour, just fisher of souls and shiny worm.

It's pretty laid back throughout the whole game. Phoenix Blaster works decently enough in hardmode that you could reasonably kill The Twins with it, provided you use hardmode ammos.

I don't recommend making Shroomite Armor though, Chlorophyte is good enough and you'll never be able to get Shroomite's bonus to work consistently during bossfights.

I did a gameplay of Calamity Community Remix, which is a well made Calamity addon that adds various things from the fandom wiki, and I enjoyed it. It honestly had a bunch of very creative boss battles, had some charming characters, and is a high quality joke mod. Near as I can tell, the non-pixelart version of that image is just a profile picture. There doesn't seem to be any, like, uncropped versions of it. Mind explaining a bit on the gnome farm? I tried it in my last run and I think I understand mechanically how it works, but it was very slow and bad at generating gnomes. However, my underground/cavern fishing spot kept giving me gnomes (they'd run at me from off-screen while fishing) often, and it was just like a two in one. Get gnomes often while fishing. Or is your farm that sky farm thing where nothing but gnomes spawn? I haven't tried that.

Yeah it's that. You have to get lucky with a living tree generating in your world though. The fishing spot you have sounds nice - I didn't know gnomes would petrify underground.

The farm I use is basically the same as the one in the helpful videos post that's appended to the OP. I get ~90 gnomes per day with a water candle and 140 jungle grass blocks, which nets me a little over a platinum at my happiest NPC. It's good money, but it's boring to grind cuz you just sit there and wait for them to pop and you can't alt+tab. Farming bosses like the BoC is probably better time-wise.

This is on getfixedboi which means you need to drag a gnome into the mushroom biome to petrify (which was easy, there was a natural tunnel from my fishing spot down to the biome) so I just made it a bit smoother/easier to drop down and they follow. I'd get a gnome every few minutes which I felt was great.

I had a character that I gave the Dryad set just for that. Dryad myth is highly varied. Some of them are able to get pregnant in the normal way, but more often they find someone that they think would make a good fit and force them into a tree hollow, when the tree opens back up, the person has become a Dryad, tied to the tree. if you want something nearly as good, farm zombies at night (in a graveyard during the day works too) until you get a zombie arm. go find your shimmer and turn that arm into a whoopie cushion. combine that whoopie cushion with a cloud in a bottle for a fart in a bottle. annoying sound aside, it's the 2nd best jump you're gonna have access to that's somewhat consistent to get, assuming you find a cloud in a bottle
