Welp HPGG, I've finally finished the main campaign of Hogwarts Legacy, by the game's standards I'm on 60% completion but the rest is just collectables so who gives a shit.Anyway, I don't expect you'll hear anything new from me.The world design is great, Hogwarts is interesting to explore and so on.Trouble is, they seem to have put so much focus on the world design that they forgot to give the game an actual story. Like, I've played through the whole thing and I couldn't name you a majority of those characters because I simply do not give a shit. The lessons system is boring, the 'side quests' are about as monotonous as can be and the lack of any kind of morality or consequences to your actions make the whole thing feel less like a living, breathing world and more like a dollhouse.For fuck's sake, I was casting unforgivable left right and centre by the end and no one gave a shit. Or how about the fact that you can just alohamora your way into people's houses, pillage their stuff and they just sit there without a care? There's clearly a mechanic for stealth which we see in prof. Moon's demiguise mission where we sneak past prefects, so why isn't this the case in such private spaces?

They did nerf suitcase but not in a really meaningful way. The bird still hits for a fuckton, units still get sucked in crazy fast and the Newt assist being able to pull it makes having backrow control 10,000 necessary or it gets a ton of fuel or even free ones.The Trixy revert/nerf hits considerably harder but even then it seemed like a dumb one to begin with because inbetween Harry and Voldemort the echo can easily get downright embarassed. Now its just back to being a worse Newt.
