The reason Deca don't have mystics is because this way they can have memories from outside of Kivotos current cycle, pretty obvious from all the talk about memories if you ask me. It's also why Sensei has flashbacks to different iterations of Kivotos and Gematria have knowledge from outside of the cycle.
