unpopular opinion but I want the Commander to be a "main character" (an observer/viewer) not the protagonist of the story. The protagonist obviously being the character that drives/moves the plot further. Kind of like older battle harems, the main character is just there to support the girl and act as self insert for the viewer. I actually don't want Rapi or Marian to be a protagonist either. The character to win the rapture war SHOULD be someone who has actually been fighting the rapture war and believe in the cause somewhat. Laplace, Goddess, hell even eunwha would be better.
