I'd agree that S;G is overrated and Madoka Magica is the aoty of 2011 (and Code Geass is my favorite anime), but I've also had more time to let that opinion simmer. I haven't made up my mind on Frieren in terms of "top 10" listings or whatever, but I enjoyed it enough to be at least in my top 20.
