Movement in Wuwa is way WAY more free, you have omnidirectional flight in 2 out of 3 major areas, and finding chests and puzzles is very easy. The exploration gets more streamlined as time goes on (1.0 to 2.0 to 3.0) but it remains a good time.But the little puzzles and chests and everything are the same in both games, though in Wuwa they're more rewarding because pulls are cheaper.

And you can skip the plot of entire regions if you want and move on to the next region opening it up.Unironically Jinnyzhou is the best region for exploration. Forming your own opinions about it and then comparing them to others is the best part. I started Wuwa 6 months ago. Travelling is much smoother and more fun than in Endfield. Exploration is fun. Sure, you unlock flying later as you've heard, but exploration in 1.x is most fun on foot. And you'll be doing this between patches for extra currency so there's no rush to complete it. The story feels all over the place in the beginning of 1.x because it introduces a lot of new things, but its never boring. The game is only a year old so the "old regions" and the gameplay don't feel old.
