Venom has a really good primary fire despite what people will say and can really threaten space assuming you’re against honest characters (no phoenix hawkeye), like I think the range is 15, maybe 20 meters, that is actually crazy far and you can do WORK with it if you hit it max range, that, his giant health pool, and the fact he is an 8 foot tall drooling behemoth give him a lot of perceived front line threat if you absolutely NEED to take space (usually with the intent of pushing them behind cover). I think climbing is a very important skill for Venom in general, I am almost never firing from the ground if I have a wall near me that I can run on and jump/slam off of, it makes you harder to hit, way scarier, and doubles your move speed (big for the grasp radius). One thing I love doing is forcing 1v1s by just annoying people. You set up far behind, wait for the guy walking back from spawn, just poke him once with the primary and walk behind cover only after they look at you. Venom is spiritually a Bugs Bunny ass character so try to embody that. When you do actively dive I recommend using easy swing (bound to another key) and keeping it in mind often, it automatically goes to the NEAREST anchor point so you can actually play around it a lot. It is essential to him imo. You probably have been in fights where the guy you’re trying to kill is like 4 hp by the end but you NEED to get out so you just accept the L, turn and swing. With easy swing you unironically save the mental effort and time commitment of swinging away and can use it to just barely eke out a kill sometimes. The way I dive as him (to great success) is to just HARD commit to killing one guy btw, never turn your head, maintain eye contact with the victim. Always kill Spider-Man if you can

Don't over-extend, but you should be applying pressure to claim an area. With Thor its all about Thor-Force management. Be generous with his lunge because its not only mobility but it grants shield. His thunder dome is a must for engagement because it forces the enemy to stick in the fight, otherwise they take damage by leaving the dome. The hammer hurl is to finish off fleeing enemies. Thunder dome can also ground fliers if you're skilled enough. Awakened/lightning shots are for weaker enemies at a distance, or if you just want to hurl suppressing fire shots at the enemy.
