>>555391717I'm honestly considering quitting or restarting my wrath run at gray garrison because I played with an excessive amount of power from mods and house rules but still manage to get crit and one shot to death by just about everything that moves in that game. I'm playing on unfair mind you. It's just ridiculous you know. the entire game is already basically RNG because table top, but you'd really think using isekai mod would give you the kind of advantage that would keep you from getting a game over for most of the game. I'm genuinely seething. Maybe the worst part is that owljew still refused to let you begin the prologue with as many mercs as you want. you MUST go through the entire shield maze with a -24 (didn't it used to be -48 too?) ability point penalty while taking 2x damage protected only by characters who cant cast useful spells or defend against any attack and survive.afaik the only way through the early game on this difficulty that isn't expected to just save scum their way through is SoD builds and if I can be honest that's one of the least fun ways to play this game for me. Everything when you do that is about dumping all your stats to pump one, nuking the encounter with sleep spells or other 1/ko attacks, then resting. I could reduce the damage of the enemies and increase their HP but while I am 300% for increasing encounter HP theres no way to give enemies more action economy so the more HP they get, the more valuable that play style becomes. at the same time leaving unfair on is starting to make me hate the game and myself. It's still not as hard as ng nightmare kurts but what is?

That said its good enough for me for now. just click mount anything in toybox and get in the robot. it's unfortunate that you cant really get anything but golem models if you aren't into biomechs right now, but this could be a solved problem if someone gets off their ass and re-implements model swap for pet units. for visual customization a knowledge of the visual effects you want that affect that unit is necissary. Everything post act 1 is a lot easier to manage since you'll have last stand on at least 5 of your party members it's just the a1 struggle

Just did some testing and found something pretty messed up.You need Iconoclast level 3 to save this guy. The option only appears if you have Iconoclast level 4 however, which is unlike many other alignment-restricted options which will still exist, they are ust greyed out and say [Requires Heretical level 3] or whatever, so you don't know what they say and can't select them but you know they exist. This one is different in that it doesn't even show up if you don't have Icono 3.But that's not the messed up part. The messed up part is that you need to have a ranged weapon in your main hand in order to see it as well. Which is a completely hidden requirement. I went through here reloading a save a few times wondering why the option that I have chosen in previous playthroughs wasn't appearing. It's because I had a pistol in my *offhand*. Having a ranged weapon equipped didn't count, you have to have it equipped in a certain hand. And this was written before mainhand/offhand was really a thing in this game, which hand you used didn't matter until they added Fleet Training as a perk recently.What a silly thing.

As for entangle web etc I've already been using that the whole game since the entire gimmick with this image and my thought process involving my madoka based character is "Connect" or in other words elaborating on the character design document's explination that the tips of her hair extend off screen and they go to every other magical girl results in a character who uses her hair in reflavored spells such as those to bind enemies. Since I'm here complaining about it it's obvious those spells aren't a wonder cure that instantly wins you the fight. they only delay enemies from arriving or create situations where your attackers cant reach the archers. You are much better off having it. I think defending the defenders heart without it would honestly be a nightmare.
