It is crazy how hilariously bricked charge is as a status. And it's not even that it just does nothing right, that was basically what Tremor did. And it's basically what poise still does. But it's like they went out of their way to make it unsalvageable as a status. Because they could have done the same thing they did with Tremor and given you the ability to change your charge types for different neat effects. But they decided to instead give a ton of IDs """unique charge""" that does literally fucking nothing besides have another name, so they can never ever have charge conversions. And hilariously, charge doesn't even do close to the most raw skill damage either. Mao Faust's NORMAL S3 does significantly more damage than W Corp Heathcliff's even if you completely ignore the rupture damage. Same with the other Two Maos. And most seasonal S3s honestly. Not only that, charge barely has any internal synergy other than using refueling EGOs occasionally. Thing keeping charge as a team that even has an identity are envy res IDs, and most of them aren't even charge. Legitimately how the fuck would you even save the status, besides just making IDs that roll retarded high for absolutely behemoth tier damage? Most of this applies to poise too btw, but at least unique poise is a possibility for the future, unlike real unique charges
