I have heard that if they consider your location invalid they'll just flag your account and prevent you from winning, but if you won tickets you're already in. The only recent measure they've implemented was ID checks for Gakumas lives where they've been in extremely high demand in super small venues, I had no problems with any ID or Asobi stuff when I went last year and K-Arena is so big that you have to remember that if they stopped one person from coming in, they'd create a massive traffic jam. The vast majority of smart phones these days have eSIM support which makes things super easy.
