I was just thinking because some people said they got screwed by getting Laevy at 119. In most gacha f2p and sometimes low spenders have to sacrifice rolling characters to get any weapons at all. In this if you roll for a character you have a very high chance of getting their weapon for free(the only time you don't is if you roll the character super early, in which case you have the BP weapon(also free) to pick up the slack if you don't want to roll more). Even for whales the weapon is a free bonus that they now don't have to buy rolls for. The actual shit part of the gacha is how hard pity doesn't carry over between banners, not the weapon system.
