Dodging and defensive play feels like it matters more since there's not a lot of free Iframes. It's not amazingly deeper, but it's deeper by default. Genshin elemental gauge theory was fun to poke around with, but Endfield forces you to break rotation at times instead of doing the same EQ rotation for 20 seconds

Finished Laevatain's story. Really enjoyed it, was actually surprised at how much I did considering how I tended get annoyed at how slow the main story can be. She kind of feels like a volume 2 light novel heroine, got a lot of scenes that felt a bit romantic I think. I can see why she was chosen as the first banner even if she doesn't have relevance in the main story since her story helped flesh out endmin.
