I am playing dragon element charge blade with partbreaker 3 and on hunt against 9 star rey dau I broke only his head. Am i just that bad at this game? I swear when i was playing with greatsword it was much easier to break parts even though i had no partbreaker. Can somebody help a noob?

This means you have to be close to the monster but you're also too slow to keep up with the monster. The solution is you're supposed to be moving before the monster does. So you predict them which for most monsters means you stand to the side, press attack, and by the time your attack lands they'll have turned to face towards you and you'll bonk them on the noggin. It's not very beginner friendly frankly so I'd recommend using another weapon until you get better because certain monsters in the later half of FU get really spastic so it'll be even harder to hit them. If you're determined to stick with it, remember you move faster while charging the hammer but watch your stamina or you'll be in trouble when the monster enrages.
I finally understand how they intended for you to fight tigrex in FU. In retrospect that should have been really obvious because I've faced monsters like that before but for whatever reason it just didn't click until today. Fun fight

Wilds could've been great if they nerf the player because the monster too easy, can't find the monster automatically on the mind, justify the painball, your seikret gets hurts or being stop or distracted from saving you from the targeted monster and most important part is add Monoblos.
