I'm telling you guys. CPU level 8 corner defense drilling is the most effective thing I have ever done to improve my defense. It only does one thing which is forcing myself to hold downback and not panic. All the fancy offense like safe jumps, plus on block setups, delay meaties, shimmies and stuff have no effect when you are just blocking. When they start resorting to consecutive throws of 3 or more, that's when your other options besides blocking like teching and jumping become more probable to work.
