If you're in a situation where you know a bind or a silence would kill you as you're trying to get away to pot, cast puri. If it doesn't do anything, then at worst you're down a recup for the BRD that's in every fucking game to burst you from 2 states away, but the alternative is getting bound in place and then getting bursted and dying.This also applies when you go into a teamfight, did two of your guys just die and you're alone on the point? Give it a second and then puri+guard/your movement options and start a retreat. It's not so much making accurate predictions as much as just playing very scared and assuming the worst, it's much better to guard pre-emptively than it is to be sitting in guard with 15% HP where the RDM or DRG will just guard pierce you for an easy kill.The other thing would be to listen to audio queues, a lot of moves have big windup, but you can hear the attack coming before the animation comes out (MCH is a big class for this, almost all their big moves are prefaced with a ton of digital whirring noises) I also THINK the audio queues are louder for you if the attack is coming at you. When you get used to listening for audio over waiting for visuals, you'll get snappier with your guarding/healing and get blown up less.That's about it, I remember a lot of the time I'd just throw out moves and just assumed they did what I wanted them to in the frames between me executing them and them actually happening, so a lot of gameplay with high cc ping is just messy guessies to be 100% with you. I grew up playing Smash Bros Brawl wifi so I'm used to it + also deranged.
