First three shoots do some damage (like 25% of yellow bar), but after this it virtually stopped registering hits - pumping two full volleys of arrows into it removed like a pixel worth of its damage bar. First 2-3 shots were doing some damage, but after this it's like I'm shooting a lvl 1 green tier gun
I think those crystals are tuned the same way as the bosses, where you need the gimmicks to deal any damage. The first time I did one of those runs solo, I didn't bother with the gimmicks at all. It took me like 5 minutes to down the boss. But now, with maxed out drones, the boss' HP simply stops moving if my drones are out. It's extremely noticeable. It takes about 1 minute to down them. I haven't tested it, but it would make sense. Most people will be using their gimmicks at the start of the fight, and the drones will almost gone before the crystals even start showing up. I don't know about the blast version. I haven't tried it. But if it's tuned for all 3 people using their gimmicks, then it makes sense that they aren't dying.

The boss is tanky, but the damage of it and all minions balanced enough to encourage the players to move around and pay attention to their surroundings while shooting it. The damage is likewise forgiving and you can take a few hits.
