It's getting harder now that we're able to clear loop 2 since it requires players to hit bad splits in order finish off every boss. Can't afford bricks or too much overkill either. Something else to note about adding a new mode is that game mode overload can very much hurt player retention. The appeal of most mobage is that they're ideally pretty breezy and not terribly demanding to keep up with, more mode bloat means more chores means more time needed to keep up with everything, it gets exhausting over time and can lead to players just dropping out entirely. Even if surface could be fun it could also very well mean more complexity and more chores.
