LR plesioth in FU is harder than any 9* in wilds, this monster clearly was not playtested at all. considering daymio is easier than literally every other large monster before it the difficulty spike to plesioth is insane>hard parts everywhere>absolute gigantic so attacks have huge sweeping ranges>every time it jumps out of the water it goes to the other side of the area>most of the time it then immediately runs back to the water>at any moment it will hip check and do 50% of your HP>it's also tall so good luck hitting anything other than the legs>apceros and hermitaurs will gang up on you tooat no point does it feel safe to engage with this monster

You should be safe if you are near its wing or tail tip, so attack those parts-Gravios can fire a straight laser or always sweep it from your right to your left. The forward laser is quicker to finish and is always accompanied by a gas attack (unless you break Gravios' back). Both lasers are unblockable.-Gravios can step back twice and stand upright before rolling over to you. Dodge back twice and attack or hug close to the forward facing foot until it rolls past you-If Gravios starts walking towards you it will do a 180 degree tail attack twice once it gets in range of you

Power Prolonger 3 is good on paper but in reality it doesn't help with your blue mode uptime that much since you should perfect dodge very often to keep up the buff anyway (yes even in multi), and they can only be extended 3 times before falling off anyway. My recommendation is Fire/CritEle, CE3, CB3, and CB1 on your R8 charm. >Defense BoostYou don't need it. Defense Boost 7 is not going to turn a 2 shot into 3 shot, nor one shot into 2. If anything, it combined with Divine Blessing and Super Recovery will give you a false sense of security where you feel safe playing at half health but ended up getting carted by a medium-sized 9* attack. Speed Eating and Evade Extender are much more important comfy skills. For DB, Constitution, Marathon Runner, and Stamina Surge are also good comfy skills to have instead of recovery speed/recovery up tbqh.

Came back to finish wilds and I still can't get over how much worse SA feels even though it's been years since I played world SA. In world it felt like you had to actually juggle your time between sword and axe to maintain dps. In this game you just sit in sword mode and they give you switch gauge while you are in sword mode for some reason and totally break the whole dynamic of the two modes and the meter.

Help.I really really really hate all of the lance's switch skills.Insta-block is kind of ok because I learned I can still guard dash - leaping thrust without guarding first.But I'm still not good enough to perfect every attack.Shield rush is... well I miss finishing twin trust and it doesn't feel lin enough to chase down a monster when you tail cut it and it tumbles away. I've also never gotten a single KO with thr shield bash.And spiral trust blows. You basically use it instead of instablock and the monster can still k owck you out of the attack l, unlock anchor rage which is awesome for getting a buff and negating an attack that goes on for a long time, but only has one connection point to the player where if you guard it, you can stand in the rest of the attack and not get hit... Khezu lightning...Anyway. I love lance but hate what it's making me do to become "optimal".Also now I see why they nerfed guard dash leaping thrust in wilds lol.

The swap skills and scroll switching in RiseBreak were better than the bloated GU Hunter Arts. More doesn't always mean better.The only problem with the Rise skills was that some did what they were supposed to do and gave you different options for how to play, while others were useless as fuck because the other skill in that slot was a thousand times more powerful and versatile. That's something they could easily fix.People bag on Rise and not without reason. Grinding gaypex monsters in the rampage sucked. But the gameplay is true peak MH and we're regressing with garbage like Wilds.
