New(ish)fag here. I'm trying to finally learn how to play the game seriously and want to understand rotations. I have been following YouTube videos to learn the right way to play characters. I have one question: Why is it that whenever I successfully finish one character's rotation and move onto the next character, the amount of forte gauge and resonance liberation gauge they have will never be the same every single time? So for example, two of my 5-star characters I have are Qiuyuan and Mornye. Whenever I finish Mornye's rotation and switch to Qiuyuan, sometimes he'll enter with 80 percent of his forte gauge filled and sometimes he'll enter with 100 percent of his forte gauge filled. What am I doing differently with Mornye to cause this? I am fairly certain I do the same actions with Mornye every single time.

It strikes me as odd that people think that you can't pull for both meta characters and off-meta characters. Use, build and optimize the meta characters for astrite grinding in endgame modes, and then use whoever the fuck you want (including off-meta characters) in the rest of the game (no optimization needed), whether it's the day-to-day tasks (such as daily quests and forgery challenges) that actually represent most of the time you spend in the game, or for new map exploration, or for the various event quests during banners. The only explanation I have for this is that the people who vehemently argue against pulling for off-meta characters are poorfags trying to justify their own decisions not to pull for off-meta characters and feeling insecure seeing others pulling for off-meta characters, especially much older 1.X characters like Jinny.

It's complex *for a gacha*, but all that really means is that there's a lot of buttons to press and enemies have attack patterns that you have to pay attention to. Make Mornye's syntony field also shoot some cannons for shit dmg as coordinated attacks and there you go, you just helped Jinny stay relevant in the new meta AND open up more teams for Mornye. Hell, make Frog's Hecate attacks count as coordinated attacks and you open up a team right there and all it takes is one fucking keyword being added, no number tweaks.
