I only skimmed the video but every point I skimmed to, he was talking about Ogryn and not about any other classes. So it seems to me like in his mind Ogryn exists in a vacuum and doesn't have to be compared to every other class, and because Ogryn has ONE really good build, that means its not the worst class. I think I understand why so many people find ogryn hard to play. They see a gunner 40 meters away and they're conditioned to go "oh shit, I need to pull out my ranged weapon and blast that nigger" and then they find that ogryn has no good ranged options, so their only choice is to slide towards the gunner.This is a playstyle issue. Don't bother pulling out your ranged weapon. Just keep swinging your pickaxe at the horde while moving towards the gunners. You regen such an obscene amount of toughness per swing that even in h40 you can do this quite easily.That kinda sound stupid unless you play like this and know that it just works. Very often I have the most ranged elites killed as ogryn without ever pulling out my ranged weapon in h40 because I just casually make my way over to the group of gunners while swinging at trash mobs.
When there's an event I just play ogryn so I can carry my team through anything. I also do the same on weekends to deal with the shitters and also weekdays, morning, evenings, late night, EU refugee hours, and sometimes holidays.
