I hate the essence system but I am slowly coping that one you get a 3/3 essence that's it. No need to roll perfect hidden substats, no need to get perfect rolls into the correct substat, nothing. Once you get ANY essence with 3/3 you're done, getting a 1/1/1 essence is fine it just means more etching attempts to max it out but you're done once you get that essence. Artificing gear is the same, there's RNG on actually succeeding the artifices sooner but once your gear is maxed out there's zero RNG, there aren't other players who got better artifice rolls and now have stronger gear than you do. We all exist on a level playing field outside of potentials and weapon dupes which is a fair sacrifice for a gacha game (and can be leveled too, one whale with max pots is on the same playing field as another whale with max pots)

What do you all think about Ember’s and Last Rite’s designs? I honestly love all of the character designs so far… except these two in specific.
