As much as people shit on the GMS team for not noticing they fucked up the rates on several GMS exclusive systems (and deservedly so frankly, even with sphagetti code with the data you collect it should be obvious after like a week's worth of sample size), at least it's better than Wonki trying to hotfix it and not tell anyone. Like, there's being incompetent, and then there's following it up with maliciousness, which holy shit Wonki why did you think that was a good idea over throwing the company you outsourced to under the bus? Say what you will about the fucking nothing of the Inkwell note (including the fact that we should have been getting once per patch Shining Starforce well before this, let alone what people think is happening) but at least it's a fucking response after people are paranoid about it being rigged (I would not be surprised if GMS exclusive points are also bugged though).

the problem is both of them requires criminal amount of grinding
the difference is that mushrooms are always there waiting for you in case you need a break
whereas portals forced you to get fomo'd into playing the game 24/7 because the event will never come back anymore

insane gains this month but yeah im feeling a lil grinded out for sure but glad twentoona is over
issue is im popping a totem today so its not over kek, but I've only been doing like 2-3 hours daily on main and an hour on renny, so the burn out ain't too bad
should be more comfy at least without having to go into portals and having a cor makes me just farm more cus its so easy to fit in 30min grind sessions
I do plan to grind less and play more ps5, gotta finish up trails of cold steel 4 so I can move onto reverie
but I'll probably still do event procs on renny I think I can easily get to 285 by cw end depending how good next event is, that afk exp event is like a weird luxe sauna and by the end you have 60 hours of afking a week in it
at least I'll have 3x coupons again...

portals were shit because the rewards didn't scale properly
no one cares about a minuscule amount of xp and 800 spell traces (on a good day, you could get mystical cubes)
people do care about 100 xp vouchers with a chance for 1000 or 6th job materials is good

How long have Lynn and Mo Xuan been at the top? Because if they didn't get nerfed, surely Kanna ain't getting touched.
Mo Xuan only got "nerfed" because it was an actual critical game breaking bug, and even then he is still at the top.

Honestly the blossoms event was worse for me than Twenteena. Granted, I was doing non-consecutive 30 minute grind sessions on the former with little breaks in between to wait for portal reset, while my regular portalmaxing strat was just to wait 15 minutes, kill 1k mobs, hope the portal spawns in a reasonable amount of time so I don't have to put in more effort, blast Twenteena, then go wait 15 minutes again. If you were actively WAPing yeah I can imagine the burnout, I can't imagine doing a WAP a day regularly. But that's why I'm usually just under an average 2T EXP a day and was going to hit 290 just before they were releasing the 295 area. Now it's like early April between the grinding I did and boxes/pouches I opened (I've got about 100 of each sitting on Challenger World still to go so I fully expect to hit it much faster while upgrading a single HEXA skill, the X0 upgrades are fucking miserable).
