I realized that I don't particularly hate the Anis Idol arc, more so that I hated the transitions from searching for Leviathan and finding out that she was researching to create a queen to then switch to an idol arc was what was pissing me off. Next time there is a survey, I will sternly point that out that they avoid that in the future. How did anyone expect the whole build up was for Anis to amplify a charged particle cannon to blow away a rapture queen? Especially when the story stated that Anis' trauma was that she was bullied while the fate of the balance of the surface was changing, affecting any future land reclamation. I highly doubt Anis' trauma was due to her being bullied and we still haven't gotten the full picture yet. I will place my bets that she died due to an idol obsessed schizo who kamikazed himself to take her with him because I don't know, nikkephobia? He wanted human Anis, and when people thought she was a nikke, he came in and blew himself with her and now she really is a nikke after that. Or at least something more believable, otherwise it doesn't help Anis' character by a whole lot and its the writers saying "we don't know Anis, therefore we don't know how to approach her". For goodness sake, normal Rapi knew her for a while back, and based on her hints of dialogue, understands Anis' past and sympathezies with her and I was led to believe "Something really bad must have happened to Anis in the past if you have the serious normal Rapi act concerned since she herself went through stuff".
