Kayron and Rin are in the fine but nothing special realm and aren't too unique without more rolls, Rin got buffed but she still isn't amazing.The others aren't on the starting banner and Sereniel is limited, but of you luck into Chizuru she's incredibly buffed.

It seems the new equipment and cards in Burning life are way weaker than the lab 0 counterparts. It has a copy select event but it still has the same issue where there are too many interior events so your odds of seeing it are way worse than in the default ones (the event also has this incredibly evil mechanic where it only gives you Orlea's BiS on a failed roll which is both annoying to get and means you lock yourself out of the 4th copy). It seems to have way more divine epis and transform events(not as useful now) so it seems that if you're not building Orlea, Magna or Nine it might be worth doing the better normal chaos this time?
