Finally a story chapter that makes me care about this game's story again, this was really good, just as good as 2.5 if not better, I am pleasantly surprised and glad to see that at least they can write good stories when they want to, there's still the narrative issue of previous characters not showing up as much as they should but when a character has this much personal relation to Rover it makes complete sense for them to be isolated. Really good stuff, Aemeth is probably my favorite character now, Phrolova finally got dethroned (I still fucking like her a lot though and would love it if she showed up more in the story). Especially now that Rover knows a bit more about the past, It'd be nice if they had a moment of retrospect to realize how it IS a bit fucked up what they did to Phrolova and they should try to apologize or at least make it up for her somehow
