Hecate would simply kill them if they chose not to follow her orders after all. Despite that, Lampas overcomes that need and helps Kazuya throughout the entire game. By the time her ending happens, she even refuses to lamp Kazuya under any circumstances out of love for him, proving that she not only didn't do anything but instead actively tries to be a good person.
