I spent lots of hours in the last couple of days browsing the Epistine files... doing this before I sleep was really a bad idea... I also was searching about 'Eyes Wide Shut', Stanley Kubrick's last movie... the movie that held the biggest message in all of film history... the movie that wanted to condemn all of humanity for staying silent toward evil and shutting their eyes even though it is wide open to what is happening... this was him clearing his conscience and telling the world about what he knows in the most unforgettable way... movies were meant to be this... they were created to deliver a greater message that can't be sent with mere words... they were made to make us see the truth with our own eyes...

AI models are taught to prioritize readability over accuracy, because their target audience can only identify readability and can't identify accuracy. You can see deepL, for example, getting significantly worse as a translation tool over time for exactly this reason. So no, you can't translate shit with AI. AI is getting better at making shit that looks accurate to its ignorant target audience, but it's getting WORSE at actually outputting a faithful TL. The best part is people will ask the AI if its own translation is accurate, missing the point completely.
