Its pve only, but coop session based missions with up to 4 players. Matchmaking works well and is usually quick. You grind missions to unlock characters and weapons and research them to obtain them after the fact. Recently they've added the ability to shave down research timers by playing more missions in game, people were able to unlock the new character dia and have her ready to play within a day by doing this which in the past was literally impossible without paying. The monetization is done through the shop selling gooner skins, but characters have a base and ultimate version which both cone with good outfits, some of which are very gooner. There are events that reward skins for free, and there are free battlepass ones too. Theres also a free boss skin once per update or so. Its gotten a LOT more f2p friendly. You cant buy gameplay advantages either its just cosmetics and things to help you grow faster.

We need more options for crit mods we've had the same ones since launch. Dia with an ancestor mod boosting crit rate is maxed out. All the extra crit rate found on the existing mods is wasted space but you need to take them cause it's where all the crit damage is too

Ideally if you can get cooldown and damage you’re in a really good spot, with a 3rd being crit chance or HP or duration or range. She can benefit from all of those stats and it would change which mods you equip to balance them all. Ornerys build shows what the most “down the middle” balanced approach would be while prioritizing damage output. It serves a good foundation to then tweak to your liking.
