pretty sure the thing they're teasing on their bluesodomy account is the cataclysm expansion for hearthstone they put as an option for a survey a while back. explains why they're trying to hype it up instead of just dropping one big reveal like for any other expansion. also explains the "shatter" keyword.
I like the idea of using direct WoW locations/events as hearthstone expansions after seeing what original expansion ideas the team has these days. when they add monk it'll probably be a general pandaria expansion if not a copy of mists.
I'm going to guess shatter is going to be similar to invoke where they activate a new neutral deathwing card in their deck to do something or probably just something that "corrupts" certain cards into shattered versions. they could be turbo lazy and just make shatter into something that splits specific cards in half idk.
classes will be based on cataclysm locations and each will get a legendary location that can be shattered, that'd sound pretty safe for idea space. hunter will focus on the area near the dwarf starting zone, legendary dam location. mage will be jaina's town. paladin gets stormwind with throwback cards referencing UIS while warrior gets orgrimmar with throwback cards referencing FIB. deepholm shouldn't be referenced again this soon plus al'alkir and his elemental plane would be way cooler for shaman, but they'll probably just wank off ragnaros and make shaman all about him and the black iron dwarves. death knight gets western plague lands because andorhal. rogue is tough because worgen and tess have been associated with rogue cards but goblins fit rogue well too. no fucking clue what demon hunter gets, probably some made up thing that didnt exist during cataclysm or they exaggerate the zone that the dark portal is in to have been affected more, it'd allow them to use a naga theme since I vaguely remember the murloc enslavement questline there. druid gets nordrassil. priest and warlock idk.

averages 13 to 15 turns because it's just 40 stall effects with no way to win the game
you will lose, but it will also take a year to do so

Mage is in an extremely unhealthy place, 80% of the reason being Sleet Skater's existence.
There is literally no better class at stalling. It has more armour gain than Warrior and with Bob, Skaters and one bounce it can freeze a board for easily 6+ turns.
But it has nothing to build towards because Blizzard is retarded. They just keep printing stall and control for mage with no space to give them a win condition because if they had a win condition it'd be an even worse version of the current Blob DH deck, because it would be unbeatable via the board, but unlike DH it would have life gain to deal with OTK stuff and on top of that counterspell.
So the result is:
- Extremely uninteractive class, this is usually very popular among players because players hate when the opponents can do shit.
- Lots of card generation, something players usually also tend to like.
- Can stall a lot so matches will always go very long.
- Can't actually win the games, so even though it stalls, it still loses the game anyway.
- The games it does win it's frustrating as shit because it's just stall and getting bailed by randomly generated cards.

End result: Dogshit 40% winrate deck that lots of people play and absolutely everyone hates playing. Cora kill yourself already.

What a dumb fucking match. He'd somehow gotten that Warrior/Druid tauren what eats minions out of your deck, so I had to throw out both of my Protoss guys without Deios (and of course he healed back up every time after -20 dmg)
Thankfully I managed to get 3 copies of Elise with Bob, each with gain 12 armor/DR: deal 10 damage.
He had a full board of 12/12s, 14/14s etc WITH aura at some point, but played Lumia like a fucking retard at some point so he could never finish me off. I was 2 points of fatigue ahead of him and still managed to beat him because he was a fucking retard who'd played all his cards in one turn instead of baiting the location deathrattle one by one. I fucking hate autopilot decks and the retards who man them.

I don't think there has been many chances for them to use it, the blackrock adventure was before they did legendary weapons. They could have had a trade chat meme card for it during stormwind or barrens but I think they might have just referenced it in some cards flavor text.

God fucking damn it man, I was just thinking about making a post about how in hearthstone you rarely think "wow, I've planned ahead and thought about all possible outcomes and taking those into account I've made a great play" anymore. Cards are so strong that drawing them and spitting them on the board with no thought impacts the game more than any other well thought out plan. It COULD be the case that playing around certain cards and strategies could outweigh busted hands, if it weren' tor the fact that you can generate ridiculous game changing cards. Knife Jugglers have decided games before, but not to the extent that an imbue rogue might.
But then I remembered that more than anything else, the game is decided by the whims of Blizzard's algorithm. I swear, anyone who's still denying it is a retarded cuckold. You can play 50 games with any given class, then switch decks only to promptly be made to realize that the decks you now are made to face are completely novel. I hadn't had an idea that bandage priest existed prior to switching from Dragon Warrior to a control deck.

I was happy to finally face a blob DH as mage. Turns out, it was a never seen before face-DH deck which weirdly enough also drew perfectly. Myself, I'll uninstall as I've done last year after Badlands, only to reinstall at the beginning of the month, until now. See you next year you fucking cucks

No, Gruul was never good. Honestly most of the old legendaries were terrible even at the time, from the base set the good stuff was Rag, Sylvanas, Alexstraza, Ysera was proven to be terrible with the advent of Classic but at the time she was glazed to hell and back.
