is it just me or has drake been really annoying recently? I used to think she had more depth, like she was a true hero character like Laplace and sort of pretends to be an idiot as a quirk and can get serious when she needs to but recently in the story, she's sort of just an idiot, even bigger than laplace. Drake jumps into the dark matter lake for essentially no reason. Laplace has the heart of the true hero/inheritor of the title of the goddess of victory that makes her likeable. Drake had the thing where she didn't feel fear/stayed the same after getting her nimph removed. I felt like Drake's character has really taken a nose in her recent campaign involvement. The only positive thing she's done is make Ziz cutely want to join the villain union. I do feel like they decided to drop the Drake arc, since they cliff hangered Laplace losing all the power in her arms and teasered the possibility of Drake taking all of Laplace's remaining power. Of course it was all thrown away immediately in the next chapter release for Helm fan service, with the Admire appearing out of nowhere to unsatisfyingly instantly heal and upgrade matis instead.

I've picked up some older gachas like ProSekai and Uma Musume and playing those a lot. ProSekai is just a rhythm game with tons of story and dialogue which I skip and Uma Musume is like a weird roguelike visual novel and the story and the characters are really fun, cute and charming. If the premium currency was more generous in Uma it would be a fantastic game but as it is I am always starved and skipping banners for cool characters I want while in Nikke I'm drowning in pity sparks and 100k Gems and end up getting the new filler slop useless character anyways despite skipping and saving.
