In Connect iX I checked what anthem gave you and the results are:

>the Razor Wheel getting the Boomerazor upgrade
Getting 10K kudos gives you a second level overdrive, or gold overdrive as I call it, since there's no official name for it as far as I can tell. Anyway, gold overdrive gives you everything that anthem does besides infinite EX weapon energy. I actually really like this system and think its a way better implementation of what LAiX2 was going for by tying in gameplay related rewards to kudos because they didn't nerf your base abilities for that.
Also its not too over powered either because of how the muse and kudos systems work in GV3. The muse only sings for a limited amount of time and the only way to extend that is by getting another 1K kudos, and if you get hit while carrying 10K kudos the kudos lock penalty is just over 1K in of itself. I wouldn't mind if they brought this over into LAiX3, personally. My only nitpick is that Lola doesn't change into her awakened form for gold overdrive, she only does it for anthem.

This post is just cope. There's no way you can look at this and it not come out looking bad. Majogami released simultaneously on Switch and Switch 2 and was a brand new game, and still didn't chart. NIS's games are struggling to chart. Compile Heart's games barely chart any more. This is the just the way it's been in Japan since the turn of the decade. Unless it's bing bing wahoo or a super heavily marketed AAA game like Monster Hunter, you can just expect sales like these in Japan now because their entire market got destroyed by gacha. It is more grounded than I expected. NPCs do react to the terrorist attacks and wonder if their dependance on tech makes them specially vulnerable. One guy even wonders is human driving would prevent more accidents after the traffic scenario.
But still fantasy enough so a kid and friendship can save the day when even adults can't.
Though I do think Lan's friends could have been more prominent, at least they help save the day in the end but they kinda fall into the background in the middle. And chaud also seems like he will have a more developed character arc but he just settles on being there for a rematch.

Suits iX's themes perfectly.

Many of the Sumeragi Falcons don't actually have much loyalty towards Sumeragi. They're mostly forced into opposing Copen either through blackmail or coerce. They don't really give much of a fuck about the Minos either though. Whether there could be Minos sympathizing adepts is, sadly, outside the scope of the game.
