These are supposed to be like, character creation quests for sengoku warriors, but I skipped them, and never finished the Kanna questline prior to the update, so now I'm incapable of getting the Kanna Story artifact mission done without making a new character.

you know the problem i have with battle passes, especially on reboot, and i think this problem gets looked over a lot, is...that yes it is true that they don't really help the average player get ahead by making progression milestones from scratch on a new character "free", they DO really mess up the competitive aspect of something like the start of every CW, they give just enough of a boost to the top players to make all the content "free" since for them buying a pass means getting to do crazy speedrun skips like day 1 270 + ctene because of the double weekly reset when the game goes up as well. this past CW you could be eating 2 weeks worth of adv vouchers, VIP sauna tickets,mag pots, and frags + eventually cap it and get a trans growth pot to hit 270 from 268the difference is night and day and staggering, someone without a battle pass would be just doing cernium dailies and monster parks, wapping a bit to 262 or 264 and logging out waiting for next daythe day 270 now is like anywhere from 20-50%FD stronger than a non paying player, non paying player then has to spend the next week wapping in 0 burning maps in cernium while paid players are on 100% burning in odium and able to one shot anything because the pass also gives +200% monster damage, they can now clear all the gene pass missions solo and lib in like 2 weeks compared to non paid

Dreamy Belt is another i would prefer not to see eating my rng luck - you need to invest a ton of resources, and have other items to enable the value in these; it makes gear progression feel bad when you get something 'good', but it's only incrementally better than what you might have already without dumping a ton of effort into improving it
only making these comparisons because they have to compete directly with 4 set supp and it takes them a long time to beat out that set effect specifically

Starter meso/drop gear is 5 lines of meso to reach the cap and then the rest into drop. Eventually you'll want more drop which requires you to get hybrid or double lines but that takes tens of billions so it's not relevant for you right now. Starter drop gear is usually just random boss accessories from zak, ht, arkarium, etc. but reinforced gollux belt and earrings are free so you can use those if you want. Later on you can use higher level gear to get more damage for grinding but that's for like 285+.Also don't bother with absos and go straight for arcanes. With challenger and rentals you should be more than strong enough to kill ctene in a party. The boxes are instanced and unaffected by drop rate so getting them is straightforward. Only takes 1-3 months to get the full set unless you're very unlucky. You can also work on liberating your genesis weapon while you're at it.

Even 20m should be just fine given that I was soloing everything at 40m-something.If you're struggling with damage then you could check your class's discord for info on nodes, hexa, hyper stats, links, legion, gear, inner ability, skill/buff sequence, burst and so on. If you're new then there's a good chance something is completely unoptimized. Also get your weapon(if not challenger gear), secondary and emblem in order before meso/drop gear. Legendary potentials at 2-3 lines of atk/boss are a huge damage boost.

In hindsight it's kind of crazy they are forcing this LC meta on them with such limited time per day. I can see it being extremely stressful. Obviously pay2win also becomes a way more viable option. It's more like an action game there where gearing is an afterthought and you just log in max out your skills like in devil may cry with blood orbs and just kill stuff and bosses. The rpg component is not really a thing on KMS reg and GMS interactive.
erel is probably super easy if he plays like how he did in maple m, he's got a couple buttons you press off cooldown that link together to summon his little guys and his burst is an iframed keydown+skill sequence. not that far off ren aside from not being a hurricane 2bh
Reboot is way more RPG than mmo so bossing is like fighting gym leaders in pokemon, you beat the early/mid game gym leaders with a crank crew and then go grind them up to face the final 4. KMS and GMS interactive is like starting at the final 4 with a premade maxxed out crew already.

you very much can just go and drill boss with 18* canes that's why the easy versions of all of these exist. you can do these as long as you have 18* canes, 21* cras, and aren't in literal full boss accessory set which is pretty easy to get out of in reboot with gollux and sweetwater and dawn you don't need an eyepatch drop to do/starting learning hseren ekalos (functionally identical to nkalos for the sake of learning) ekaling and eadversary (functionally identical to nadversary for learning purposes) it's just a more convenient path if you do get it
It's a lot more nuanced than that. For example, most end gamers on reboot we still need to do ark/gollux daily on 6 characters. Those bosses are ancient. Are you going to make fun of me for still doing gollux/ark daily because it's still the best way to get a 23-24* sos and push content beyond ekaling? Drilling bosses does nothing on reboot since it's just 3 nslime mules worth of crystals, with all the power creep nslime bulers are now 10mins each and running 3 would be the same as doing 1 grandis mincut. I'm making 40bil a week and haven't even went into kalos or kaling yet besides their story modes. It's a whole different game that you are clueless about, we may as well have an entire different set of bosses at this point.

So is there anything worth noting about gearing up alts for whatever bossing/etc goals you have on heroic servers? Like is it really just keep throwing mesos from your main for pots and stars and keep progressing through bosses? Wasn't sure if there's anything transferable from a main that could be used to boost an alt outside of pure mesos.
